Chenango Point Cycles: See Jim Delaney and his shop specialists for the best in new bikes and quality service. Did I mention that they lead rides from the shop through the year? Just ask!
Cliff House - see Cliff for your ski needs. He has it all and is always willing to help.
RESTAURANTS
Finer Dining
Cortese: Robinson Street, Binghamton. Wow, Cortese is a classic Binghamton eatery, and we love to eat here. Our favorite is the Milanese preparation for steaks - garlic galore! Everything here is fresh, except the staff, and they are all talented at making your meal a pleasure.
Pubs and Quick-Fare
Thirsty's: Open late (always a plus for us), Thirsty's offers absolutely mouthwatering food at a GREAT price. Wow... bbq deluxe! They also have bands through the week and a friendly bar staff. Try it - you will like it. Thirsty's is right off 434 and Vestal Avenue on the South side of Binghamton.
NIPS: Nips has excellent specials under $5 ! Just look on their board on the South wall... located on Park Ave. on the South side of Binghamton, this is a grand place for a great burger and homemade salads. Watch for their buffets of homemade delights.
BUILDING SUPPLIES
KOVARIK Tru Value; Clinton Street, Binghamton, NY: Speciializes in HELPFUL, FRIENDLY service. Plumbing department is AWESOME. They carry many "odd" items, make keys, carry electrical, garden, tools paint -- I love Kovarik! "MAY I HELP YOU" and "WHAT DO YOU NEED TODAY?" -- and they call you by name! Although they do not carry drywall/ lumber, these folks are EXCELLENT and you will want to visit them and get to know them!
